Agency View
Every store you have access to, in one list, converted to one currency.
What this page answers
Which client is carrying your book, which one is slipping, and which one is holding its revenue up by giving margin away.
Every other page in the app reports one business at a time. This one ranks them, in a single currency, so the answer is a sort rather than an afternoon of tabs.
It is also where you find out where your own attention has drifted. A client can grow all year and still become a smaller part of what you manage.
The table
This is where a client that looks fine on the sales line and thin underneath shows itself.
Agency Clients (In per shop timezone)
One row = one store you have access to.
Columns: Client · Url · OrdersOrdersA simple, powerful demand signal; watch its trend. · AOV USDAOV USDIncreasing AOV is one of the easiest ways to grow revenue without more traffic. · Gross Sales USDGross Sales USDProduct revenue before product-level discounts. · % Discounts% DiscountsHow much of your revenue is given back as markdowns.Under 8% is healthy · Total Sales USDTotal Sales USDOverall net revenue for the selected period. · %Total Sales% Total SalesShows how important this segment is to overall revenue. · Gross SalesGross SalesRevenue before discounts; compare with Product Revenue for markdown cost. · AOVAOVYour average order size, and a direct lever on revenue. · Currency · Time Zone
Six of those carry a % △ beside them: Orders, AOV USD, Gross Sales USD, % Discounts, Total Sales USD and %Total Sales.
Gross Sales and AOV — the last two money columns — do not. They are in each store's own money.
How to scan it
- Sort by Total Sales USD, highest first — that is how it opens
- Look across at its % △, then at % Discounts and its % △
- The row that matters has sales flat or down while % Discounts climbs — that client is holding revenue up by giving margin away
Two pairs worth checking
Orders % △ + AOV USD % △ — orders up while AOV falls means the growth is smaller baskets, not more business. Nice on the sales line, thinner underneath.
Total Sales USD + %Total Sales — a client can grow and still shrink as a share of your book. That pair is where your own attention is drifting without you deciding it.
Url opens that store in a new tab. Handy when a row looks wrong and you want to see the shop.
Reading across stores
A gap between two rows only means something if both rows are speaking the same language.
Three columns are converted so the list can be compared: AOV USD, Gross Sales USD and Total Sales USD. Rank clients on those.
Two are not converted. Gross Sales and AOV are in the store's own money, and the Currency column tells you which one. Use those when you are on the phone to that client, not when you are comparing them to another.
Two clients at similar Total Sales USD but far apart on % Discounts are not the same business. One is being bought, the other is being sold.
A wide gap on AOV USD between two clients you treat the same way usually means their pricing or their basket has moved apart, and your advice to them should too.
Read every % △ against the size of the row. Five percent off your largest client is worth more than the whole of your smallest one.
Filters
Every % △ on this page is measured against the Previous period you set. Without one, those six columns have nothing to say.
Date Range and Previous period both apply.
There is no Filters button on this page. Country, Customer Type and Order Source are not offered here.
View switch, top right: bar, line, pie, or table. The chart opens on Total Sales USD and draws ten clients at a time — pick which ten in the Dimensions dropdown.
Compare checkbox appears in chart view and overlays the previous period.
Search matches the Client column only. While a search is active the totals row is hidden, because it totals every client, not the ones you searched for.
Export downloads the list, totals row included.
Watch out for
Each client's day starts on its own clock. The header says In per shop timezone, and it means it. A one-day range is not the same hours across the list.
The totals row is only meaningful on the USD columns. Adding up Gross Sales or AOV across rows in different currencies gives you a number that means nothing.
A converted column carries the exchange rate as well as the trade. A client can look flat in USD while growing at home, or the reverse. Check the Currency column before you read a small move as real.
%Total Sales is a share of this list, not of your whole business. Add a client and every other row's share falls without anyone selling less.
Do this first
Sort by %Total Sales, highest first.
The top two or three rows are most of your book. Read their % △ before you look at anything else — a small slip there outweighs a large one at the bottom of the list.
