Manage Stores
Which stores this account can see, and whether they roll up into one combined view.
What this page controls
Which of your stores the app counts at all, and whether they add up into one number or stay separate.
A store you never add here is a store you never see. Nothing warns you it's missing — every page reports one store's numbers and looks complete doing it.
An organization is what turns several stores into one report. Create one and the store switcher gains an (All Stores) option that reads every page across the group.
Without one, the switcher lists your stores one by one. Every total across stores has to be added up by hand, or read a row at a time in Agency View.
Access is the other half. Nobody else gets into a store until you invite them, and an uninvited colleague sees nothing rather than a locked page.
When you need it
Come here the moment your business gets bigger than one store or one person.
You've never checked. Open the store switcher and count the stores against the ones you actually own. Anything missing has been left out of every number you have read so far.
You opened or bought a store. Add it before you read another figure anywhere in the app.
You want one number across stores. That's an organization, and it's the only way to get (All Stores).
Someone new needs the numbers — a partner, a bookkeeper, an agency. Invite User sits on this page and on every store's row menu.
You sold a store or ended a contract. The row menu is where access comes back.
How to do it
The only step you can get wrong in a way that's expensive to undo is the currency, and it happens in step 2.
Organizations are listed first, then Stores not in any Organization. Both blocks carry the same columns — Stores, Details and a row menu — and Details is that store's currency and time zone.
-
Add Store. Type the Shopify domain — the field already ends in
.myshopify.com— and press Add. You are sent through Shopify to install and approve, so the app has to be installable on that store. -
Create Organization with Multiple Stores. Name it, then select stores. Two is the minimum; with one store the dialog says so and offers only Close. Select the store whose currency you want the organization reported in first — the dialog states it in a line at the bottom: Org uses the currency of the 1st store selected.
-
Add Store to Org. Sits inside each organization block, and only lists stores not already in it. If there is nothing left it tells you.
-
Invite User. Available from the top row and from any store's row menu. It hands off to Manage Users once an email is entered.
-
Tidy up. Each row's menu carries Remove store from org inside an organization, or Remove store access for a store on its own. Delete Org sits in the organization's own header.
Watch out for
The two things here that another click won't undo both live inside organizations.
Remove a store from an organization that has only two, and the organization is deleted with it. The confirmation warns you, and it is easy to click past.
An organization's currency is fixed by the store you picked first. Select in the wrong order and every combined number afterwards is reported in a currency you did not intend.
Delete Org does not delete stores. They move down into Stores not in any Organization and keep their data.
You cannot remove your only store. That row's menu item is disabled and says so.
While an organization is selected in the switcher, the Integrations page refuses to open. Switch back to a single store before changing any connection.
Every store keeps its own currency and time zone, and the Details column shows both. Stores in one organization are not on one clock, which is why combined tables carry the words per shop timezone.
This page has no date range picker. Nothing on it is scoped to a period.
